2. Geltungsbereich

Diese Erklärung gilt für die iOS-App **Sweetspot Golf** (einschließlich der Apple-Watch-App und der Widgets) sowie für diese Website, soweit unten gesondert beschrieben.

3. Kein Tracking

Die App betreibt **kein Tracking** im Sinne der Apple-Richtlinien und keine Werbeverarbeitung:

- Es wird **keine Werbe-ID (IDFA)** ausgelesen oder gespeichert. Die App bindet die Analytics-Variante ohne IDFA-Unterstützung ein.
- Deine Daten werden **nicht mit Daten anderer Unternehmen zusammengeführt** und **nicht an Datenhändler weitergegeben**.
- Sämtliche Werbe-Einwilligungstypen sind im Programmcode unbedingt auf „abgelehnt" gesetzt. Zusätzlich sind bei Google selbst **Google Signals deaktiviert**, die **personalisierte Werbung in allen 307 Regionen gesperrt** und die **Weitergabe an „Google-Produkte und -Dienste" abgeschaltet**.

Deshalb fragt die App **keine App-Tracking-Transparenz-Berechtigung** ab. Die unten beschriebene Einwilligung ist eine eigenständige, datenschutzrechtliche Entscheidung
und kein Tracking-Dialog.

4. Welche Daten wir verarbeiten

**Auf deinem Gerät und in deiner iCloud (wir haben darauf keinen Zugriff):**

- Profilangaben, die du eingibst: Name, Alter, Heimatclub, Geschlecht, aktuelles und Ziel-Handicap, besessener Launch Monitor – alle freiwillig.
- Trainingsergebnisse und Fortschritt: Rhythmus-Einheiten, Ballreihen, Launch-Monitor-Einheiten, Erfolgstagebuch, Scorecards, Schlagdaten.
- Einstellungen (Rhythmusmuster, Tempo, Feedback-Modus), synchronisiert über den iCloud Key-Value-Store.
- Kamerabilder für die Geschwindigkeitsschätzung und Mikrofon-Audio zur Treffererkennung: werden **ausschließlich auf dem Gerät** verarbeitet und nie hochgeladen.
- Standortdaten zum Finden nahegelegener Golfplätze – nur mit deiner Erlaubnis. Die Koordinate wird an Apples Kartendienste zur Beantwortung deiner Suche übermittelt und darüber hinaus nicht gespeichert; an unsere Statistik geht sie nie.
- Videos aus dem Training werden nur mit deiner Erlaubnis in deiner Fotomediathek gespeichert.

**An unsere Auftragsverarbeiter (siehe Abschnitt 7):**

- Nutzungsstatistik und Performance-Daten – nur nach Maßgabe von Abschnitt 5.
- Absturzberichte – immer, siehe Abschnitt 7.
- Video-Trainingspläne: Wenn du ein Video aus einem Plan startest, den du besitzt, fragt die App eine kurzlebige, signierte Streaming-Adresse an. Übermittelt werden der Pfad des Videos und eine anonyme Konto-Kennung – nie dein Name, deine
E-Mail-Adresse oder deine Trainingsdaten. Das geladene Video liegt ausschließlich auf deinem Gerät und ist vom iCloud-Backup ausgenommen.
- Abonnements: Wenn du einen Kauf startest oder abschließt, wird dieses Ereignis mit dem Produkt und dessen Preis gemeldet – mit Statistik-Einwilligung und an dieselbe pseudonyme Kennung gebunden wie jedes andere Ereignis. Schlägt ein Kauf mit einem
Fehler fehl, werden das Produkt und der Fehler gemeldet, nicht aber der Preis; brichst du einfach ab, wird gar nichts gemeldet. Es zeigt uns, welchen Pass Golferinnen und Golfer wählen und wo ein Kauf abbricht. Die Zahlung selbst läuft vollständig über Apple; wir sehen kein Zahlungsmittel, und der App-Store-Beleg
erreicht unsere Statistik nie. 
- Forschungsbeiträge – **freiwillig und standardmäßig aus.** Nur wenn du in den Einstellungen „Pseudonymisierte Forschungsdaten beitragen" einschaltest, übermittelt die App höchstens einmal täglich eine datenminimierte Zusammenfassung: dein Handicap und dein Ziel-Handicap als groben 5er-Bereich (z. B. „10–14"), die
Kalenderwoche (z. B. „2026-W31", nie ein genauer Zeitpunkt), wie viele Einheiten du je Training abgeschlossen hast, deine App-Sprache und die App-Version. Nie übermittelt werden dein Name, deine E-Mail-Adresse, deine Konto-Kennung, exakte Zeitpunkte, Standortdaten, Gerätekennungen, einzelne Schlagwerte oder Freitext. Der Beitrag trägt eine zufällige Forschungs-Kennung statt deines Kontos; die Zuordnung zwischen beiden liegt in einem Dokument, das ausschließlich du selbst lesen kannst.
Die Daten sind damit **pseudonymisiert, nicht anonym** und bleiben personenbezogen. Rechtsgrundlage ist deine **Einwilligung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO)**, jederzeit
mit demselben Schalter widerrufbar. Gespeichert wird in der EU (Frankfurt); die Sammlung nimmt ausschließlich entgegen – auslesen kann sie kein Gerät, auch deines nicht. Ein Widerruf stoppt weitere Beiträge; die bisherigen werden entfernt, sobald
du dein Konto löschst.

**Aktiv:** Die sozialen Funktionen (Freunde, Gruppen, Bestenlisten, Duelle) sind in der öffentlich veröffentlichten App-Version freigeschaltet und laufen auf unserem Produktivsystem; verarbeitet werden dafür dein Anzeigename bzw. dein Kürzel, deine Bestenlisten-Einträge und die zugehörigen Beziehungen – jeweils erst, wenn du die Funktion nutzt bzw. deine Sichtbarkeit einschaltest. Auch die oben beschriebenen **Forschungsbeiträge** werden aus der veröffentlichten Version übermittelt; sie bleiben freiwillig und standardmäßig aus. Meldest du dich an, legen wir zusätzlich
ein privates Profil an (Name, Alter, Heimatclub, aktuelles und Ziel-Handicap,
besessene Launch Monitor – nicht dein Geschlecht), das ausschließlich du lesen
kannst und aus dem ein zweites Gerät deine Angaben wiederherstellt.

**In Beta-Versionen (TestFlight)** gehört der Forschungsbeitrag zum Testprogramm und ist eingeschaltet – die Beiträge landen in derselben EU-Datenbank wie die der Store-Version; in der Store-Version bleibt es bei der ausdrücklichen Einwilligung mit
Voreinstellung „aus".

- Rechtsgrundlage in der EU/im EWR/UK/CH: **Einwilligung**, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO.
- Rechtsgrundlage in den übrigen Ländern: **berechtigtes Interesse**, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (Verbesserung und Betrieb der App), mit jederzeitiger Widerspruchsmöglichkeit über denselben Schalter.
- Du findest deine Entscheidung jederzeit unter **Einstellungen → Datenschutz & Daten**.
- **Widerruf ist keine Löschung:** Das Ausschalten stoppt jede weitere Erfassung sofort, löscht die in Abschnitt 6 genannten Merkmale und setzt die Analyse-Kennung auf diesem Gerät zurück. Bereits erfasste Daten löschen wir auf Anfrage
(Abschnitt 9).

6. Was die Statistik über dich weiß

Mit deiner Einwilligung ordnen wir deinem **pseudonymen** Profil die folgenden Merkmale zu. Als **Profilmerkmale** übermitteln wir persönliche Werte ausschließlich als Bereiche, nie als exakte Zahlen:

- **Zu dir:** Geschlecht, Altersbereich, Handicap-Bereich, Ziel-Handicap-Bereich.
- **Ausrüstung:** ob du einen Launch Monitor besitzt und dessen Klasse (keiner / geschwindigkeitsfähig / andere).
- **Training:** Abo-Stufe, am häufigsten trainierter Bereich, geplante Trainingstage pro Woche, ob die Apple-Watch-App installiert ist.
- **App-Einstellungen:** Einwilligungsregion, App-Sprache, Erscheinungsbild, Geschwindigkeits- und Distanzeinheiten sowie die Standardwerte des Rhythmus-Trainers.

**Vier Ereignisse enthalten dagegen exakte Werte**, und wir nennen sie hier ausdrücklich, statt sie hinter „nur Bereiche" zu verstecken:

- **Handicap-Ziel:** Im Moment, in dem du es änderst, werden der alte und der neue Wert einmalig gemeldet – damit wir sehen, wie Golferinnen und Golfer Ziele setzen.
- **Abo-Kauf:** Im Moment des Kaufs werden das Produkt und dessen exakter Preis gemeldet – damit wir sehen, welcher Pass gewählt wird und wo Käufe abbrechen.
- **Launch-Monitor-Training:** Eine Trainingseinheit meldet die Marke deines Geräts, die Schlägerkategorie, die Anzahl der Schläge und den Messwert der Kennzahl, die du
trainierst.
- **Geschwindigkeitstraining:** Die gemessene Schlägerkopfgeschwindigkeit einer
Einheit.

**Nie übermittelt:** Name, E-Mail-Adresse, Heimatclub, Platznamen, exakte Scores oder Freitext, den du in der App eingibst.

**Wie du identifiziert wirst:**

- Firebase App-Instanz-ID – eine zufällige Kennung dieser Installation; wird beim Widerruf und beim Löschen der App zurückgesetzt.
- Anbieter-Kennung (IDFV) von Apple – nur zwischen unseren eigenen Apps geteilt, keine Werbe-ID.
- Eine zufällige Nutzer-ID (UUID) unserer App – enthält weder Namen noch E-Mail.

**Zu Crashlytics im Klartext:** Absturzberichte sind immer aktiv, weil die App sonst nicht stabil gehalten werden kann. Erfasst werden Stacktraces, App-Version und Gerätemodell sowie eine kurze Spur technischer „Breadcrumbs": ausschließlich **Namen** von Bildschirmen und Aktionen sowie grobe Zählwerte – **keine**
Trainingswerte, Scores, Namen oder Freitexte.

**Welches Vertragswerk gilt:** Google verarbeitet als Auftragsverarbeiter. Für Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring und Cloud Messaging gelten die **Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms**; für Firebase Authentication, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage und Cloud Firestore gilt das **Google Cloud Data Processing Addendum**. IP-Adressen werden uns nicht offengelegt; Google kann daraus eine
ungefähre Region ableiten.

8. Empfänger und Drittlandübermittlung

Auftragsverarbeiter sind Google Ireland Limited und Apple.

- **Firebase Authentication wird von Google ausschließlich in US-Rechenzentren betrieben.** Dort liegen deine Kontokennung und – bei Anmeldung mit Apple – die von Apple übermittelte E-Mail-Adresse. Da jede Bestenlisten-, Freundes-, Gruppen-, Duell- und Video-Plan-Funktion ein Konto voraussetzt, wird diese Kennung bei jeder dieser Nutzungen in den USA verarbeitet.
- Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring und Cloud Messaging sind globale Google-Dienste und können in jedem Google-Rechenzentrum verarbeitet werden. - Unsere Cloud Functions laufen in der EU (europe-west3, Frankfurt); Support und Administration können dennoch von außerhalb der EU darauf zugreifen. - Die Cloud-Firestore-Datenbank und der Cloud-Storage-Bucket für die Videos liegen ebenfalls in der EU-Region europe-west3 (Frankfurt).

Soweit eine Übermittlung in die USA stattfindet, stützt sie sich auf Googles EU-Standardvertragsklauseln und die Zertifizierung nach dem EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

9. Deine Rechte

Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft (Art. 15), Berichtigung (Art. 16), Löschung (Art. 17), Einschränkung (Art. 18), Datenübertragbarkeit (Art. 20) und Widerspruch (Art. 21) sowie das Recht, eine Einwilligung jederzeit mit Wirkung für die Zukunft zu widerrufen.

**Löschanfrage:** Schreib uns an app@fabianbuenker.de mit dem Betreff „Datenlöschung". Wir bestätigen den Eingang und veranlassen die Löschung deiner Analysedaten über die Löschfunktion unseres Auftragsverarbeiters; die technische Umsetzung kann dort bis zu 63 Tage dauern.

**Beschwerderecht:** Du kannst dich bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde beschweren, insbesondere bei der für unseren Sitz zuständigen Behörde – das ist die Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit der Freien Hansestadt
Bremen – oder bei der Behörde an deinem Wohn- oder Arbeitsort.

10. Diese Website

Beim Aufruf dieser Website verarbeitet unser Hoster technisch notwendige Server-Logdaten (IP-Adresse, Zeitpunkt, angeforderte Seite, Browsertyp) auf Grundlage von Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO zur sicheren Bereitstellung. Cookies und Website-Analyse werden – falls eingesetzt – über das Consent-Banner der Website
gesteuert und sind nicht Gegenstand dieser App-Datenschutzerklärung.

11. Änderungen

Wir aktualisieren diese Erklärung, wenn sich die Verarbeitung ändert. Bei wesentlichen Änderungen an der Statistik-Verarbeitung fragen wir in der App erneut nach deiner Einwilligung. Die jeweils gültige Fassung ist oben mit Version und
Datum gekennzeichnet; frühere Fassungen bleiben archiviert abrufbar.

2. Scope

This policy covers the **Sweetspot Golf** iOS app (including the Apple Watch app and widgets) and this website, as separately described below.

3. No tracking

The app performs **no tracking** in Apple's sense, and no advertising processing:

- **No advertising identifier (IDFA)** is read or stored. The app links the analytics product built without IDFA support.
- Your data is **not combined with data from other companies** and **not shared with data brokers**.
- All advertising consent types are set to *denied* in code, unconditionally. On Google's side, **Google Signals is disabled**, **ads personalisation is blocked in all 307 regions**, and **"Google products & services" sharing is off**.

The app therefore does **not** request App Tracking Transparency permission. The consent described below is a separate, first-party privacy choice — not a tracking
prompt.

4. What we process

**On your device and in your iCloud (we have no access):**

- Profile details you enter: name, age, home club, gender, current and target handicap, launch monitor owned — all optional.
- Training results and progress: rhythm sessions, ball sequences, launch-monitor sessions, success journal, scorecards, shot data.
- Preferences (rhythm pattern, tempo, feedback mode), synced via the iCloud key-value store.
- Camera frames for speed estimation and microphone audio for impact detection are processed **entirely on-device** and never uploaded.
- Location data to find nearby golf courses — only with your permission. The coordinate is sent to Apple's mapping services to answer your search and is not retained beyond that; it never reaches our analytics.
- Training videos are saved to your photo library only with your permission.

**To our processors (see section 7):**

- Usage statistics and performance data — only as described in section 5.
- Crash reports — always, see section 7.
- Video training plans: when you start a video from a plan you own, the app requests a short-lived, signed streaming address. It sends the video's path and an anonymous account identifier — never your name, your email or your training data. The
downloaded video is stored on your device only and is excluded from iCloud backup.
- Subscriptions: when you start or complete a purchase, that event is reported with the product and its price — with analytics consent, and tied to the pseudonymous ID like every other event. If a purchase fails with an error, the product and the error are reported, but not the price; if you simply cancel, nothing is reported at all. It tells us which pass golfers choose and where a purchase breaks off. The payment itself runs entirely through Apple; we never see a payment method, and the App Store receipt never reaches our analytics.
- Research contributions — **optional and off by default.** Only if you turn on "Contribute pseudonymised research data" in Settings does the app send, at most once a day, a data-minimised summary: your handicap and target handicap as a coarse
5-wide band (e.g. "10–14"), the calendar week (e.g. "2026-W31" — never a precise time), how many sessions you completed per training, your app language and the app version. Never sent: your name, your email address, your account identifier, precise timestamps, location data, device identifiers, individual shot values or free text. The contribution carries a random research identifier rather than your account; the mapping between the two lives in a document only you can read. The data is therefore **pseudonymised, not anonymous**, and remains personal data. The lawful basis is your **consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)**, withdrawable at any time with the same switch. It is stored in the EU (Frankfurt); the collection is contribute-only — no device can read it back, not even yours. Withdrawing stops further contributions; the earlier ones are removed when you delete your account.

**Active:** the social features (friends, groups, leaderboards, duels) are enabled in the publicly released version of the app and run against our production system; what we process for them is your display name or handle, your leaderboard entries and the
related relationships — each only once you use the feature or switch your visibility on. The **research contributions** described above are transmitted from the released version too; they remain optional and off by default. If you sign in, we additionally
keep a private profile (name, age, home club, current and target handicap, launch monitors owned — not your gender) that only you can read and from which a second device restores your details.

**In beta versions (TestFlight)** the research contribution is part of the test programme and is switched on — those contributions land in the same EU database as the Store version's; in the Store version it stays an explicit opt-in that defaults to off.

5. Consent for analytics and performance monitoring

- Lawful basis in the EU/EEA/UK/CH: **consent**, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- Lawful basis elsewhere: **legitimate interest**, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (operating and improving the app), with an opt-out available at any time via the same toggle. 
- Your choice is always available at **Settings → Privacy & Data**.
- **Withdrawal is not erasure:** switching it off stops all further collection immediately, clears the characteristics in section 6 and resets the analytics identifier on that device. Data already collected is erased on request (section 9).

6. What analytics knows about you

With your consent, the following characteristics are attached to your **pseudonymous** profile. As **profile characteristics**, personal values are sent as ranges only, never as exact figures:

- **About you:** gender, age range, handicap range, target-handicap range.
- **Equipment:** whether you own a launch monitor and which class it belongs to (none / speed-capable / other).
- **Training:** subscription tier, the area you train most, planned training days per week, whether the Apple Watch app is installed.
- **App settings:** consent region, app language, appearance, speed and distance units, and your rhythm-trainer defaults.

**Four events do carry exact values**, and we name them here rather than hide them behind "ranges only":

- **Handicap goal:** at the moment you change it, the old and new figures are reported once, so we can see how golfers set goals.
- **Subscription purchase:** at the moment you buy, the product and its exact price are reported, so we can see which pass is chosen and where purchases break off.
- **Launch monitor training:** a session reports your device's brand, the club category, the number of shots and the measured value of the metric you are training.
- **Speed training:** the measured club head speed of a session.

**Never sent:** your name, email address, home club, course names, exact scores, or any free text you type into the app.

**How you are identified:**

- Firebase app-instance ID — a random identifier for this installation; reset on withdrawal and on app deletion.
- Apple's vendor identifier (IDFV) — shared only between our own apps; not an advertising identifier.
- A random user ID (UUID) generated by our app — contains no name or email.

7. Services, purposes, lawful bases and retention

**Plainly, about Crashlytics:** crash reporting is always active, because the app cannot otherwise be kept stable. It records stack traces, app version and device model, plus a short trail of technical "breadcrumbs": **names** of screens and actions and coarse counts only — **never** training values, scores, names or free text.

**Which contract applies:** Google acts as our processor. Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring and Cloud Messaging run under the **Firebase Data Processing
and Security Terms**; Firebase Authentication, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage and Cloud Firestore run under the **Google Cloud Data Processing Addendum**. IP addresses are not disclosed to us; Google may derive an approximate region from
them.

8. Recipients and international transfers

Our processors are Google Ireland Limited and Apple.

- **Firebase Authentication is operated by Google exclusively from US data centres.** It holds your account identifier and, if you signed in with Apple, the email address Apple returned. Because every leaderboard, friend, group, duel and video-plan feature requires an account, that identifier is processed in the United States whenever you use any of them.
- Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring and Cloud Messaging are global Google services and may be processed at any Google data centre.
- Our Cloud Functions run in the EU (europe-west3, Frankfurt); support and administration can still reach them from outside the EU.
- The Cloud Firestore database and the Cloud Storage bucket holding the videos are likewise in the EU region europe-west3 (Frankfurt).

Where a transfer to the United States occurs, it relies on Google's EU Standard Contractual Clauses and its certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), and the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

**Erasure request:** email app@fabianbuenker.de with the subject "Data Deletion". We confirm receipt and submit the deletion to our processor's user-deletion facility; technical completion there can take up to 63 days.

**Right to complain:** you may lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority — in particular the one responsible for our registered office, which is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, or the authority where you live or work.

10. This website

When you visit this website our host processes technically necessary server log data (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to deliver the site securely. Cookies and website analytics — if used — are governed by the website's own consent banner and are not covered by this app privacy policy.

11. Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes. For material changes to the analytics processing we ask for your consent again inside the app. The version in force is stamped with a version number and date at the top; earlier versions remain archived and reachable.
